Rug Cleaning
Workshop-grade rug cleaning across London, Herts & Berks. Free collection and delivery, fibre-specific hand-wash, full insurance — 7–14 day turnaround.
What We Offer
A rug should never be cleaned in your living room. The reason is simple — the most important step in rug cleaning is mechanical dusting from both sides, and the second is controlled flat-drying under tension. Neither is possible on a domestic floor. Every in-home rug 'clean' is, at best, a top-side surface refresh.
Our rugs come to our workshop. We dust-extract from both faces (a 6x4 wool rug typically holds 1–3kg of dry soil), identify the fibre, dye-test for fastness, then hand-wash or pit-wash with a solution matched to the material. Drying happens flat, in a humidity-controlled room, never in a tumble dryer or hung over a beam — both of which distort the foundation.
We collect free of charge from across London, Hertfordshire and Berkshire and return your rug within 7–14 days. Every piece is photographed, receipted, fully insured at full replacement value, and treated like the investment it is — whether it's a £200 IKEA Bjork or a £20,000 antique Tabriz.
